All rehearsals will be held on weekday evenings or weekend afternoons. These would be scheduled based on actor availability.

PAYMENT: All actors will receive a $1750.00 stipend, to be paid on opening night. Producer plans to apply for AEA Showcase Code.

AUDITION INFORMATION: Auditions will be held by appointment only on Tuesday July 8th from 5-10PM in midtown Manhattan. Possible callbacks will be on Saturday July 12th from 12-4PM. Auditions will consist of sides from the script. Union and non-union actors are welcome to submit.

The following roles are currently available. The roles of Millie and Van Helsing have been cast. Please note all actors will be required to perform some stage combat; a fight choreographer will be employed to oversee all choreography.

JOHN HARKER: he/him, late 30s, any race or ethnicity
Thoughtful, trustworthy, and a self-proclaimed dork, John genuinely loves his wife Millie more than anything. But John is secretly furious with several aspects of his life鈥hich makes him extremely vulnerable to Dracula鈥檚 thrall. John guides the audience through his terrible story, so we are specifically seeking actors who are excited to tackle long-form direct address monologues. Some brief moments of intimacy are required. An intimacy director will be employed.

COUNT DRACULA: he/him, any age, any race or ethnicity
More like Nosferatu than Bela Legosi. A curious creature and conqueror, Dracula is an active but non-speaking role who haunts John鈥檚 memories. Specifically seeking an actor who is comfortable with movement/physical theatre and would be game to explore mask, shadow, puppetry, or other mediums we might use to bring this iconic monster to life.

If interested, please submit to by Monday June 30th at 5:00PM. If selected to audition, we will contact you by Wednesday July 2 with sides and all relevant information. Actors will be given the opportunity to read the full script as well.
