The Gaiety Theatre, constructed in 1908, was located on 1547 Broadway at 46th Street. John Golden鈥檚 comedy 尝颈驳丑迟颈苍鈥�, produced here in 1918, was the first Broadway show in history to give more than 1,000 performances. The Gaiety Theatre was named the Embassy when it was demolished in 1982.
