Starlight Theatre was founded in 1950. It is Kansas City's largest and oldest performing arts organization and is the 2nd largest theatre of its kind in the United States. Located on 14 acres in Swope Park next to the Kansas City Zoo, the theatre seats approximately 7,900 people.
