The national tour of backstage musical comedy launches Sept. 22 at Salt Lake City's Capitol Theatre. The (book), (book), (music) and (lyrics) show is based on the novel by Bradford Ropes and the 1933 film version. Bramble directs and choreographs; the two previously teamed to stage the 2001 Broadway revival of the show.
