A concert revival of Elizabeth Swados鈥� Runaways is now playing at New York City Center as part of the Encores! Off-Center series. The staging, directed by Sam Pinkleton, features a cast of 25 young adults 鈥渙f all ethnicities, body types, gender identification, and ability levels.鈥� Runaways explores the experiences of runaway children, and weaves reggae, hip-hop, soul music and spoken-word poetry.
