A familiar voice was heard at the Broadway musical January 28. Charlie Pellett, the voiceover actor named 鈥渢he most recognizable voice in New York鈥 by The New Yorker magazine, visited the a cappella musical at the Circle in the Square Theatre, and was invited onto the stage to deliver the one line every New York straphanger has heard a thousand times: 鈥淪tand clear of the closing doors.鈥 Pellett鈥檚 visit to the musical, which is set in the New York subway system, was a surprise birthday gift from his wife, Randi Pellett. Leading lady gave Pellett a shout-out following the curtain call, and invited him up on stage to say his famous line for the entire audience.
