Serenbe Playhouse’s immersive staging of Shenandoah, which stars American Idol Season 5 winner Taylor Hicks and The X Factor finalist Rachel Potter, continues performances through April 7. Directed by Serenbe Artistic Director Brian Clowdus, Shenandoah is set in the midst of a Civil War re-enactment, incorporating more than 100 soldiers, horses, and canon fire.
Hicks, who also appeared in the 2007 Broadway revival of Grease, plays Charlie Anderson, with Potter (Evita, The Addams Family) as Anne Anderson. Performances began March 13.
