News A Pair of Ties at the Astaire Awards, Honoring Season's Best in Dance The 2015 Fred and Adele Astaire Awards kicked up an unusual double tie June 1 in the categories Best Male Dancer and Best Choreographer.

It was a big night for the Fairchild family. The same night, Robert's sister Megan of On the Town accepted a Theatre World Award for outstanding Broadway debut.

The annual Astaire Awards, which honor the best in New York dance and choreography, were presented at the Skirball Center in Greenwich Village.
