A host of Broadway favorites are part of Westport Country Playhouse鈥檚 September 9 benefit concert An Evening with Justin Paul & Friends with Kelli O鈥橦ara and James Naughton.
The 8 PM performance, directed by Caley Beretta, is headlined by Tony winners Justin Paul (Dear Evan Hansen), Kelli O鈥橦ara (The King and I), and James Naughton (Chicago), as well as singer-songwriter Greg Naughton.
These artists are joined by vocalist Loren Allred, Andrew Barth Feldman (Dear Evan Hansen), Mykal Kilgore
(Motown the Musical), Tony winner Aaron Tveit
(Moulin Rouge! The Musical), Jessica Vosk (Wicked), Raissa Katona Bennett (The Phantom of the Opera), Jessie Hooker-Bailey
(Waitress), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Jacob Heimer
(Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Stacie Morgain Lewis (Wicked), and members of Staples High School's Staples Players. Mat Eisenstein is the musical director.
The event also includes a tribute to Playhouse Artistic director Mark Lamos,
who will retire in January 2024 after 15 seasons. The tribute will feature remarks by director and choreographer Jeffrey L. Page.
