A live recording of Unbreakable, featuring the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus will be released next month. The Ghostlight Records album, captured in June 2018, consists of 14 songs that focus on various aspects of LGBTQ society from 1900鈥1999.

Soloists featured are Britney Coleman (Tootsie, Beautiful), Marcus J. Paige (Berlin Opera Academy), Lisa Vroman (The Phantom of the Opera), and Lippa, composer of such shows as The Wild Party, The Addams Family, and Big Fish, himself.

Lippa composed the piece to highlight the joy, love, pain, and fear that LGBTQ Americans lived throughout the 20th century.

Unbreakable, by August Wilson鈥檚 Pittsburgh Cycle, includes musical explorations of Harvard鈥檚 "Secret Court," Sylvia Rivera, the Lavender Scare, Jane Addams, and Bayard Rustin, a gay African-American who fought against social injustice with Martin Luther King Jr.

Ten additional choruses throughout America will present the concert during the 2019鈥2020 season; more details to come.
