BroadwayCon is coming back with in-person programming after the 2021 edition took place virtually a little later than originally planned due to rising cases of COVID-19. The theatre lovers' expo will now be held July 8-10, instead of the initially announced February 18-20, at the Manhattan Center and New Yorker Hotel in NYC.
鈥淲e want to ensure we鈥檙e able to put on the BroadwayCon you know and love with safety as a top priority,鈥 says BroadwayCon Co-Founder and Mischief Management CEO Melissa Anelli. 鈥淲e look forward to the opportunity to come together again this summer to honor the core of this event鈥攖he passionate community of Broadway fans, performers and creators.鈥
Tickets previously purchased for the event scheduled for February will be automatically honored at the July event. BroadwayCon is working to ensure that special guests will be in attendance at the new event date. More information regarding additional special guests and programming will be announced at a later date.
