Zara Aina, which was founded by Broadway actors Pinkham and , helps at-risk children in Madagascar expand their capacity for achievement through theatrical performance and storytelling.
In a statement Pinkham said, "We believe the stage is a great place to cultivate better students and ultimately better citizens. There are a lot of people in the Broadway community and in New York who want to help strangers on the other side of the planet, and this is an opportunity for us to do that."
Rooney added, "In 2016, we see nothing but growth; we see more kids being empowered, and we are trying to create a permanent space for them to go every day to receive the healthcare, the food, the clothing and the empowerment they need."
A VIP reception kicks off the evening at 6 PM; doors will open for the performance at 6:45 PM.
