The U.S. tour of Les Mis茅rables, which relaunched October 7 at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio, with Nick Cartell as Jean Valjean and Preston Truman Boyd as Javert leading the cast, currently plays Philadelphia's Academy of Music on the Kimmel Cultural Campus through November 13.
The cast also features Matt Crowle as Th茅nardier, Christina Rose Hall as Madame Th茅nardier, Haley Dortch as Fantine, Devin Archer as Enjolras, Christine Heesun Hwang as 脡ponine, Gregory Lee Rodriguez as Marius, and Addie Morales as Cosette. Cora Jane Messer and Hazel Vogel alternate in the roles of Little Cosette and Young 脡ponine, with Harrison Fox and Gabriel Lafazan alternating as Gavroche.
Rounding out the company in the ensemble are Kyle Adams, Daniel Gerard Bittner, Ciaran Bowling, Jenna Burns, Ben Cherington, Steve Czarnecki, Kelsey Denae, Arianne DiCerbo, Genevieve Ellis, Randy Jeter, Daelynn Carter Jorif, Olivia J. The Company of Les Mis茅rables
Produced by Cameron Mackintosh, this new production premiered in celebration of the show's 25th anniversary in the U.K., and has since run in North America, Australia, Japan, Korea, France, and Spain. The production is currently touring the U.K. and Ireland and will soon embark on a tour of The Netherlands with further productions to be announced. The North American tour ran from 2017 to March 2020 before being halted due to the global pandemic.

The long-running musical based on the Victor Hugo novel features music by Claude-Michel Sch枚nberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer and original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, additional material by James Fenton, and adaptation by Trevor Nunn and John Caird. Orchestrations are by Stephen Metcalfe, Christopher Jahnke, and Stephen Brooker with original orchestrations by John Cameron.
The production is directed by James Powell and Laurence Connor, designed by Matt Kinley (inspired by the paintings of Hugo), with costumes by Andreane Neofitou, additional costume designs by Christine Rowland and Paul Wills, lighting by Paule Constable, sound by Mick Potter, projections realized by Finn Ross, Jonathon Lyle, and Fifty Nine Productions, musical staging by Geoffrey Garratt, music supervision by Stephen Brooker and James Moore, and casting by Tara Rubin Casting.
The stage management team is led by Jack McLeod with Ryan W. Gardner and Claire Farrokh. The associate director is Corey Agnew, the musical staging associate is Jesse Robb, the resident director is Richard Barth, and music direction is by Brian Eads. The company management team includes Chris Danner and Elle Aghabala.
