News Companies of Rent and A Chorus Line Reunite for Pride Concert Tonight Broadway Sings for Pride presents Roar, the fifth annual benefit concert featuring stars from the worlds of pop, Broadway and television. The June 22 event sees the musical reunions of various companies of Rent and A Chorus Line, as well as "Orange is the New Black" star Dascha Polanco and "RuPaul's Drag Race" season 5 winner Jinkx Monsoon.

The one-night only event, hosted at the JCC Manhattan, features songs that embody gay perseverance. Proceeds from the concert benefit the Tyler Clementi Foundation, an organization dedicated to ending bullying for LGBTQ youth.

A Chorus Line alum include , , Robin Lyon-Gardiner, Lois Englund, Laurie Sheppard, Kelly and Todd Dacus-Smith, Randy Donaldson, Cindy Marchionda, Casey Colgan, , Luis Villabon, Bill Nabel, , Omar Garibay, Robert Tunstall, Suzen Murakoshi, Karin Kawamoto and Dena Digiacinto Humphrey.

Rent alum include , Breece Wilson, Talia Barzilay, Onyie, Divine, Krysten, , Shea Rodriguez, Injoy Fountain, Adrienne Fishe, , Jackie Reynolds, Ladonna Burns, William Ferdinand, Carl Thornton, Nicole Tillman, Rebecca Larkin, Damien Deshaun Smith, Tara Novie, Billy Aronson, Sahirah Z. Johnson, Justin Senense and Ricky Whitfield. 

Roar also features the following guest speakers and artists: country music artist Billy Gilman, "America's Next Top Model" and transgender star Isis King, Omar Sharif Jr., "America's Next Top Model" Cory Wade, Tony nominee (), (), (), (), Rebecca larkin (), Luis Villabon (A Chorus Line), Athena Reich, (), (), (), Matt Leisy (The Fantasticks), Adam Shapiro ("The Normal Heart"), Brian Craft (Let My People Come), Elissa Goldstein ("Grease on Ice"), Injoy Fountain (Fat Camp the Musical), Valerie Smaldone, Brock Ciarlelli ("The Middle"), Jill Whelan ("The Love Boat"), Kaitlin Monte and Rain Dove.

Luke Williams is the musical director, arranger and pianist; he is joined by David Cinquegrana on guitar, Joe Mankin on bass guitar and John Ferrari on percussion.
