News "Courtesans and Eunuchs!" Spend a Busy Day at Two River's All-Male Forum With Michael Urie New Jersey's Two River Theater presents an all-male production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, the beloved Tony Award-winning musical farce with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Stage and screen star Michael Urie, who plays Hysterium, takes us behind the scenes!

, who directed an acclaimed all-male production at Williamstown in 2010, again directs with choreography by and musical direction by .

Performances continue through Dec. 13 in Two River鈥檚 Rechnitz Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue.

The cast is led by two-time Tony Award nominee as Pseudolus and Drama Desk Award winner Michael Urie as Hysterium. Also featured are , Eddie Cooper, , , , Max Kumangai, , , Bobby Conte Thornton and .

The creative team includes scenic designer , costume designer Clint Ramos, lighting designers Jeff Croiter and and sound designer Drew Levy. The projection designer is Aaron Rhyne, the orchestrator is Joshua Clayton, and the hair and makeup designer is David Bova. The casting is by Adam Caldwell, and the production stage manager is Libby Unsworth.
