Hulu's comedy mystery series Only Murders in the Building has added some more familiar Broadway faces to its cast for Season 4, . Tony nominees Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent) and Richard Kind (The Big Knife), as well as Jin Ha (Hamilton) and Catherine Cohen have signed on to appear in recurring roles.
Additional new cast members include Molly Shannon, Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis, Desmin Borges, Siena Werber, and Lilian Rebelo.
The series stars Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin as amateur detectives who, in Season 1, launch a podcast as they try to solve the murder of a neighbor in their Upper West Side apartment building, The Arconia. Not much has been released about the contents of the upcoming season, but based on the cliffhanger ending of season three, the upcoming episodes will revolve around the murder of Sazz Pataki, played by Jane Lynch.
The first season of Only Murders in the Building premiered on Hulu August 31, 2021, with 10 episodes releasing weekly. Steve Martin and John Hoffman are co-creators of the series, and executive produce with Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal. According to reporting in Variety, the series is Hulu鈥檚 most-watched original comedy series to date.
The piece stars Obie Award winner Jodie Markell as propagandist filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl, whose work in service of the Nazis defined the visual identity of Adolf Hitler's Third Reich.
The Broadway alum's golden vocals brought Old Deuteronomy from Cats and the Lion from The Wiz to life, along with Oogie Boogie in The Nightmare Before Christmas.
