Original cast member Derek Klena will reprise his performance as U.S. marine Eddie Birdlace in Second Stage Theater鈥檚 March 18 concert presentation of the Benj Pasek-Justin Paul-Peter Duchan musical Dogfight. Based on the 1991 Warner Brothers film, the musical had its world premiere at 2ST in 2012.
Klena will be joined by The Cher Show star Micaela Diamond, Antonio Cipriano, CJ Eldred, Alan H. Green, Lakota-Lynch, Pearl Sun, Henu Josephine Tarrant, Ryan Vasquez, Natalie Walker, and Daniel Yearwood.
Gina Rattan directs the concert that has music direction by Bryan Perri.
The sold-out concert is presented as part of Second Stage Theater鈥檚 Musical Mondays series, highlighting the company鈥檚 past musical productions. The series launched March 5 with Jason Robert Brown鈥檚 The Last Five Years, followed by , Julius J. Epstein, and Philip G. Epstein鈥檚 Saturday Night March 11.
The series will conclude March 25 with Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey鈥檚 Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal.
