Dramatists Play Service has published the script to Alex Edelman's acclaimed and Tony-honored solo show Just for Us, which is now available for purchase at . The publication follows the work's acquisition by the theatrical licensor earlier this year.
The published edition features a foreword from journalist and novelist Taffy Brodesser-Akner, giving context for the play in a broader cultural conversation.
The work鈥攅xploring how Edelman's personal experiences with anti-Semitic abuse online led him to crash a gathering of White Nationalists incognito in New York City鈥攑remiered at Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2018 before playing runs at London's Soho Theatre, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Off-Broadway, Broadway, and more. The 2023 Broadway bow was filmed and broadcast on HBO and now can be streamed on Max. Edelman was honored with a 2024 Special Tony Award for the production, and the filmed version earned him an Emmy.
The late Adam Brace, who was an integral part to Edelman creating the show, made his Broadway debut posthumously as the show's stage director. Brace passed away after a short illness in May 2023.
