Broadway favorites Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney are engaged! The couple announced the news at their sold-out March 14 show at The Green Room 42 in New York City, when Noblezada showed off her engagement ring and called Carney鈥檚 mother (Marti Heil) "my future mother-in-law." Watch the video below.

Noblezada and Carney originated the roles of Orpheus and Eurydice in the National Theatre鈥檚 London production of Hadestown in 2018, subsequently starring in the Tony-winning Broadway premiere. They also won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album in 2020 for their work on the Original Broadway Cast Recording.

The pair recently reprised their Hadestown performances in the West End February 11-March 9, along with fellow original Broadway cast members Andr茅 De Shields, Amber Gray, and Patrick Page. Those performances were filmed and will be released at a later date.

The official Hadestown Instagram account also congratulated the couple, : "It鈥檚 an old song, and sometimes it turns out the way it should" referencing the characters the two play in the musical (and how their real-life ending is much happier than Orpheus and Eurydice's).

Noblezada, a two-time Tony nominee for her performances in Hadestown and Miss Saigon, recently concluded her run as Daisy in Broadway's The Great Gatsby January 30. Beginning March 31, she will be the newest Sally Bowles in the revival of Cabaret.

Singer, songwriter, and actor Carney created the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Julie Taymor and U2鈥檚 Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. He鈥檚 also known for his portrayal of Dorian Gray in Penny Dreadful and portrayed Riff Raff in the TV remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let鈥檚 Do The Time Warp Again.
