Casting is now complete for the Bucks County Playhouse production of the new musical The Apple Boys, which will play the Pennsylvania venue May 2鈥�25.
Directed by David Alpert with choreography by Marc Kimelman and music supervision by Rona Siddiqui, the cast will be led by Josh Breckenridge (Swept Away), Jelani Remy (Back to the Future the Musical), Tony nominee Emily Skeggs (Fun Home), and Teddy Yudain (Little Shop of Horrors). Completing the company are DeShawn Bowens, Rachel Kay, and John Mezzina Hannigan, who will cover the leads.
With a book by Jonothon Lyons and music and lyrics by Ben Bonnema, The Apple Boys is set in Gilded Age Coney Island as Jack Chapman III, grandson of Johnny Appleseed, rallies a colorful cast of characters鈥攊ncluding the founder of Nathan鈥檚 Famous Hotdogs and the world鈥檚 strongest man鈥攖o save his family鈥檚 struggling apple orchard.

The creative team also includes scenic designer Adam Koch, costume designer Johanna Pan, lighting designer Rui Rita, sound designer Beth Lake, vocal arranger Matt Gallagher, and music director Sujin Kim-Ramsey. Casting is by Jason Styres.
RL Campbell is the production stage manager and Sauniq Lawson is assistant stage manager.
The Apple Boys is produced by special arrangement with Johnnie Moore Hawkins and Lyons.
Bucks County Playhouse is under the artistic leadership of Producing Director Fraser, Executive Producer Robyn Goodman, and Producer Josh Fiedler.
