The Broadway's Future Songbook Series, produced and hosted by John Znidarsic, continues April 25 at 6 PM in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.
The free evening spotlights the songs of the writing team of Lauren Taslitz and Danny Ursetti, highlighting their new musical Mimosa.
Vocalists include Cicily Daniels, Shannon Tyo, Allie Trimm, Melanie Burg, Jason SweetTooth Williams, Viveca Chow, Cori Jaskier, Jason Pintar, and Amy Weintraub. These artists are backed by musicians Benji Goldsmith, Claire Wellin, Leigh Stuart, Will Shishmanian, Joseph Wallace, and Jon Gleich.
Taslitz and Ursetti's writing credits also include Regretting Almost Everything, A Statue of Stature, and In My Book. A concept album for Regretting Almost Everything is due in the fall.
