Some new students are joining the study group. Isa Briones and AnnaSophia Robb will star in All Nighter, a new play by Natalie Margolin currently running Off-Broadway at MCC Theater鈥檚 Newman Mills Theater. They are taking over for cast members Havana Rose Liu and Kristine Froseth, who are departing April 25. The show runs until May 18.
Set during finals week at a small liberal arts college in rural Pennsylvania, the play follows a tight-knit group of roommates as they pull one last all-nighter to complete their final assignments. Holed up in an old ballroom, the pressure mounts and the Adderall flows as the truths that bind the group together are put to the test. Read the reviews here.
The play also stars Tony nominee Kathryn Gallagher (Jagged Little Pill), Tony nominee Julia Lester (Into the Woods), and Alyah Chanelle Scott (The Sex Lives of College Girls). Briones previously starred in Hadestown while AnnaSophia Robb can currently be seen on the NBC series Grosse Pointe Garden Society.
All Nighter features scenic design by Wilson Chin (Cost of Living) and costume design by Michelle J. Li (Job). Additional creative team members will be announced at a later date.
