Performances begin January 30 for the return run of Freestyle Love Supreme at Ars Nova's Greenwich House Theater. The improvisational show, conceived by Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Anthony Veneziale, blends hip-hop, improv theatre, music, and vocal stylings.
In Freestyle Love Supreme, six performers take cues from the audience and spin them into comedy, instantaneous songs and riffs, and musical numbers. The five-week run is performed by Andrew Bancroft (AKA 鈥淛elly Donut鈥�), Arthur Lewis (AKA 鈥淎rthur The Geniuses鈥�), Bill Sherman (AKA 鈥淜ing Sherman鈥�), Chris Sullivan (AKA 鈥淪hockwave鈥�), Veneziale (AKA 鈥淭wo-Touch鈥�), and Utkarsh Ambudkar (AKA 鈥淯TK鈥�).
A number of surprise guests are also slated to appear throughout the run, including Miranda, Chris Jackson, James Monroe Iglehart, and Daveed Diggs.
Freestyle Love Supreme runs Off-Broadway through March 3, with a featuring Miranda.
