"Me Before You" follows the small-town girl Lou (Clarke) and Will (Claflin). A wheelchair user following an accident, Will hires Lou to be his caretaker. Lou's mother, Jo, will be played by McTeer.
McTeer won the Tony Award for and has also appeared on Broadway in and . A two-time Academy Award nominee, her screen credits include "Albert Nobbs," "Tumbleweeds" and "Insurgent."
will direct the film. Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber will adapt the novel for the screen. Karen Rosenfelt and Sue Baden-Powell are producing.
