The hit Australian revival of Lerner and Loewe鈥檚 , directed by original Eliza Doolittle, , will play a 2017 Sydney return engagement after playing stops in Brisbane and Melbourne.
The announcement was made by producer John Frost during the November 5 closing-night performance in Sydney. My Fair Lady opened September 6.
The production arrives in Brisbane in March 2017, followed by a May debut in Melbourne. My Fair Lady will return to Sydney in August for a limited, three-week encore engagement.
The cast features three-time Olivier winner Alex Jennings as Professor Higgins, young Australian star Anna O鈥橞yrne as Eliza, Reg Livermore as Alfred P. Doolittle, Robyn Nevin as Mrs. Higgins, Mark Vincent as Freddy Eynsford-Hill, Tony Llewellyn-Jones as Colonel Hugh Pickering, and Deidre Rubenstein as Mrs. Pearce.
The creative team includes set designer Oliver Smith, costume designer Cecil Beaton, Tony-winning choreographer , musical director Guy Simpson, lighting designer Richard Pilbrow, and sound designer Michael Waters.
