The annual awards recognize outstanding achievement in New York cabaret, jazz and comedy. Spector, who received a Tony nomination for his performance in the Carole King musical Beautiful, will share the Bistro honor for Major Engagement with his wife, Barrett, for their appearance at Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below.
They will be joined by jazz singer and lyricist Jon Hendricks (Five Guys Named Moe), who is receiving the ASCAP Bob Harrington Lifetime Achievement Award; Annie Ross, who will be honored with a Bistro Award for her Outstanding Contributions to the World of Jazz; and nightlife regular Pope, who is being awarded the Creative Cabaret Artist prize.
This year's ceremony will be hosted by stage and screen actor and four-time Bistro winner . The evening will be directed by Shellen Lubin.
