At the 8 PM evening, musical theatre writers are invited to showcase new songs, and singers are invited to perform songs by new writers. Featured artists include composer-lyricist , who will present new material from Halfway Home, an upcoming Twelfth Night adaptation commissioned by with playwright/book writer ; composer Rona Siddiqui, who will share songs from One Good Day (book and lyrics by Liz Suggs) with guest performers (Spring Awakening), (Wicked, Mamma Mia!) and Chris McFarland; and Tidtaya Sinutoke (music) and Ty Defoe (book/lyrics), who will present songs from the new musical Clouds Are Pillows for the Moon, recently workshopped at Yale Institute for Musical Theatre, with guest performers (American Idiot), Meghan McGeary and Cartreze Tucker.
