News L.A.'s Motown Names Its Diana Ross and Berry Gordy Julius Thomas III and Allison Semmes will co-star as Berry Gordy and Diana Ross when the hit Broadway musical Motown rolls into the Pantages Theatre April 28.

directs Motown, which is brimming with songs made famous by and The Miracles, Diana Ross and The Supremes, , , The Temptations, Michael Jackson and The Jackson Five. It officially opened on Broadway April 14, 2013, and ended its hit run Jan. 18, 2015.

The musical's national tour launched in April 2014. The six-week Los Angeles engagement runs through June 7.

The tour cast also features Jesse Nager as Smokey Robinson, as Marvin Gaye, with Leon Outlaw, Jr. and Reed L. Shannon alternating in the roles of young Berry Gordy, young Michael Jackson and young Stevie Wonder.
