A host of theatre favorites will be part of Broadway Melody With Jack Viertel & Friends November 11 at 7 PM at 54 Below.
The concert, directed and produced by Robert W. Schneider, with music direction by Greg Kenna, will feature the talents of Kate Baldwin (Hello, Dolly!), Tony winner Laura Benanti (Gypsy), Anita Gillette (Chapter Two), Tony winner Nikki M. James (Suffs), Kenita R. Miller (For Colored Girls鈥�), David Turner (Forum), and Alysha Umphress (On the Town).
Broadway Melody is described as a love letter to both the Golden Age of the American musical and a bygone era of the city that never sleeps, all seen through the eyes of a lovelorn trumpet player and an actress on the cusp of her big break.
