Lesli Margherita, Daniel Reichard, and Tony Award honoree Ben Davis have joined the cast of the The Broadway Musicals of the 1940s concert set for March 27 at The Town Hall in Manhattan.
The 8 PM event, part of Town Hall's long-running Broadway by the Year series, will feature the music of songwriters including Rodgers & Hammerstein, Leonard Bernstein, and Kurt Weill, including the showtunes 鈥淪o in Love,鈥� 鈥淩ight as the Rain,鈥� 鈥淭his Nearly Was Mine,鈥� and 鈥淏ewitched, Bothered and Bewildered."
Margherita (Matilda ), Reichard (Jersey Boys) and Davis (Violet) will be featured, along with Kendrick Jones (Shuffle Along), the previously announced Tony winner Karen Ziemba (Bullets Over Broadway, Curtains, Contact), nightclub star Klea Blackhurst, and Steve 鈥淭he Whistler鈥� Herbst.
The concert is created, written, directed, and hosted by Scott Siegel.
