After celebrating its official opening night on April 17, the new musical Groundhog Day will release a cast recording April 21. Before it becomes available digitally, have a listen to the complete album on . A few highlights are below.
The musical, which premiered in 2016 at London鈥檚 Old Vic, features a score by Tim Minchin (Matilda) and a book by Danny Rubin. The Broadway cast stars two-time Tony nominee and Olivier winner Andy Karl and Barrett Doss.
Rounding out the cast at the August Wilson Theatre are Rebecca Faulkenberry, John Sanders, Andrew Call, Raymond J.
