News Look Who Will Be Kicking up Their Heels in the Second Year of Kinky Boots Tour Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig, lead producers of Kinky Boots, have announced casting for the second year of the first national tour of the Tony-winning musical.

Kinky Boots features a book by multiple Tony winner and a Tony-winning score by rock icon . The production is directed and choreographed by Tony winner , who handled the same duties for the Broadway company, which is now in its third year.

The new casting will take effect in Austin, TX, beginning Nov. 10, 2015, at Bass Concert Hall.

J. Harrison Ghee will step into the high heels of Lola. Ghee understudied the role of Lola during the first year of the tour and was the Assistant Dance Captain.

will star as shoe factory owner Charlie Price.

Ghee and Kaplan will be joined by as Lauren, as Don, Charissa Hogeland as Nicola, as George and as the Standby for Lola.

Rounding out the ensemble are Zach Adkins, Joe Beauregard, Meryn Beckett, Byrd, Damien Brett, Sam Dowling, , , Nicholas Aaron Jenkins, Jeff Kuhr, Patty Lohr, Mike Longo, Maggie McDowell, , Jennifer Noble, Anthony Picarello, , Jomil Elijah Robinson, Horace V. Rogers, Sam Rohloff, Ricky Schroeder, , Juan Torres-Falcon and Sam Zeller.

Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots, according to press notes, "takes you from a gentlemen's shoe factory in Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan. Charlie Price is struggling to live up to his father's expectations and continue the family business of Price & Son. With the factory's future hanging in the balance, help arrives in the unlikely but spectacular form of Lola, a fabulous performer in need of some sturdy new stilettos."
