Actors鈥� Equity Association Shuffle
Paige Price, the first vice president of Actors鈥� Equity, has announced that as of March 31 she will be stepping down from her position. She will be moving on to serve as the producing artistic director for the Philadelphia Theatre Company. Voting to fill the position will be part of AEA鈥檚 2017 elections.
Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Nominations
The LADCC has announced the nominations for their 48th annual awards ceremony. The awards will be held on March 20 at the Colony Theatre at Burbank Town Center. Two awards have already been announced: Deborah Puette is being honored for her solo performance in Captain of the Bible Quiz Team with Rogue Machine Theatre and Jen Albert will receive an award for fight choreography for School of Night鈥檚 Punch And Judy. Board Elevator Again for a Limited Run
Award-winning filmmaker and playwright, Michael Leoni is bringing his hit play Elevator back to L.A. for a limited engagement. Antaeus鈥� New Performing Arts Center Opening Ceremonies
Antaeus Theatre Company鈥檚 new Kiki & David Gindler Performing Arts Center is opening the weekend of March 3 in downtown Glendale. The opening ceremonies, dubbed Open Stages, offers tours of the space, workshops, improv shows, story time for kids, and a chance to get to know the space and the company.
