Matt Doyle, who won a Tony playing Jamie in the gender-switched Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth'蝉鈥�Company, makes his solo Caf茅 Carlyle debut beginning May 7.
The Broadway favorite will play the intimate nightspot through May 11. Attendees can expect to hear a mix of Broadway classics and standards from the American Songbook, including several Frank Sinatra hits.
Doyle has also been seen on Broadway as Elder Price in鈥�The Book of Mormon, Billy Narracott in War Horse, Hanschen in鈥�Spring Awakening, and Hugo Peabody in Bye Bye Birdie, while his Off-Broadway credits include Little Shop of Horrors, Sweeney Todd,鈥� A Clockwork Orange,鈥� Brooklynite, and鈥�Jasper in Deadland. The actor starred in the world premiere of the Huey Lewis 尘耻蝉颈肠补濒鈥�The Heart of Rock & Roll鈥�at San Diego's Old Globe and in the title role of the 2023 U.K. premiere of Sinatra The Musical. His screen credits include鈥�The Code, a recurring role on鈥�Gossip Girl, and鈥�Private Romeo. Doyle's album,鈥�Uncontrolled, is available on iTunes.鈥�
