A House of Glass: The Life of Tennessee Williams, a new musical about the life of the famed playwright behind The Glass Menagerie and A Streetcar Named Desire, will be performed in concert at Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below September 12.
The 7 PM concert will feature Joshua Morgan (Les Miserables), Leah Horowitz (Follies, Les Miserables), Lawrence Clayton (The Color Purple, Les Miserables), Theresa McCarthy (First Daughter Suite, Titanic), Jelani Remy (The Lion King), Megan Kane (God鈥檚 Country) and Austin Colby (The Sound of Music).
According to Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below, 鈥淛oin a company of some of NYC鈥檚 finest talent for an evening of songs from A House of Glass, the story of America鈥檚 most iconic playwright鈥� Tennessee Williams. After several successful outings in DC, including a sold out run as part of Arena Stage鈥檚 2015 Kogod Cradle series, A House of Glass makes its NYC developmental debut!鈥�
The musical features music by Paul Leavitt and a libretto and lyrics by Harriet McFaul Pilger and Shelley Herman Gillon.
The evening is directed and conceived by James Will McBride with musical direction by Alex LeFevre.
