The New York Pops' 2023-2024 season launches October 27 at 8 PM with 21st Century Broadway in the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall.
Joining the famed orchestra, conducted by music director Steven Reineke, are Tony nominee Hailey Kilgore (Once On This Island), Tony nominee Derek Klena (Jagged Little Pill), Javier Mu帽oz (Hamilton), and Tony winner Ali Stroker (Oklahoma!).
The evening features Broadway tunes from musicals that opened since the turn-of-the-century, including 鈥淧erfect鈥� (Jagged Little Pill), 鈥淒ear Theodosia鈥� (Hamilton), 鈥淔or Good鈥� (Wicked), and 鈥淲aving Through a Window鈥� (Dear Evan Hansen), plus highlights from Aladdin, Waitress, The Color Purple, Catch Me if You Can, and more.
The New York Pops鈥� 2023-2024 at Carnegie Hall also includes One Night Only: An Evening with Sutton Foster and Kelli O鈥橦ara November 17; Gershwin: A Century of Rhapsody in Blue February 9, 2024, featuring Montego Glover and Lee Musiker; and Hitsville: Celebrating Motown March 15, 2024, with Bryan Terrell Clark and Valisia LeKae.
Judith Clurman鈥檚 Essential Voices USA also join The New York Pops for The Best Christmas of All with Norm Lewis December 22-23 at 8 PM at Carnegie Hall. And, a 41st Birthday Gala will be held April 29, 2024.
