News One Night in White Plains: Chess Is Heading Back to the NY Stage Chess, the 1980s rock musical that played London and subsequently Broadway, is heading back to the New York stage.

White Plains Performing Arts Center STAGE 2 will present a limited engagement of the musical Aug. 7-9 at their theatre in suburban Westchester County.<p> will direct with musical direction by Brent McGee and choreography by Jennifer Jonas. Casting will be announced shortly.
