The show will feature songs from the Tony-nominated score including "The Oldest Profession," "My Body," "People Magazine," "My Friend" and more. With musical direction by , the cast will include Bellamy Young, , , and Raena White; with appearances by , , LaDonna Burns and Marrisa Rosen.
The Life, with music by and lyrics by ; and book by Coleman, Gasman and , opened on Broadway in April 1997 and played a total of 466 performances. It was nominated for 12 Tony Awards including Best Musical, and made a star of Lillias White.
