Cumming, who reprised his acclaimed performance as the Emcee for the 2014 revival, co-stars with (After Miss Julie), who is the production's final Sally Bowles.听

The revival also features 2014 Tony Award nominees and . It officially opened April 24, 2014, at Studio 54. Academy Award winner Mendes (director) and Academy Award nominee Marshall (co-director/choreographer), who were Tony-nominated for their work on the 1998 production, returned to recreate their direction and choreography from the 1998 Tony Award-winning production. Once again, they converted Studio 54 into the gritty Kit Kat Klub, with cabaret-type seating as well as traditional theatre seating, to recreate the environment of the notorious pre-war Berlin nightclub.
