News PHOTO EXCLUSIVE: "Still Dreaming of Paradise..." A Two-Show Day (and Opening Night!) With Paper Mill's South Pacific Star Erin Mackey Broadway soprano Erin Mackey (Wicked, Chaplin) stars as cockeyed optimist Nellie Forbush in Paper Mill Playhouse's new production of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific. She shares exclusive photos taken on April 13, the show's opening night.

Directed by and choreographed by Ralph Perkins, performances continue through May 4.

Leading the cast are Erin Mackey as Ensign Nellie Forbush, as Emile de Becque, Tony Award nominee as Bloody Mary, as Luther Billis, Doug Carpenter as Lt. Joe Cable and Jessica Wu as Liat.

The company also features (Capt. George Brackett), (Cmdr. William Harbison) and (Stewpot). Young actors Bonale Fambrini and Gabby Gutierrez play Jerome and Ngana, respectively. Avery Espiritu and Sydney Veloso are the alternates for those roles.

Rounding out the ensemble are Andr茅s Acosta, Faye Bautista, , Will Burton, , Matt Faucher, Joanne Javien, Caitlin Maloney, Christian Marriner, George Merrick, , Samantha Joy Pearlman, Michael Scirrotto, Paige Sommerer, Ryan Steer, Jeff Sullivan, Teddy Tinson, Grace Wales and Gregory Williams. Adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel "Tales of the South Pacific" by , South Pacific, according to press notes, "is an exquisite story of romance and love set against the backdrop of a lush tropical island during World War II."

The creative team also includes scenic designer , costume designer , lighting designer John Lasiter, sound designer Randy Hansen, costume coordinator and additional designer Leon Dobkowski, hair and wig designer Leah J. Loukas and production stage manager Gary Mickelson.
