The McCarter Theatre Center's world premiere of Choice, penned by Wicked book writer Winnie Holzman, began previews May 8 at the New Jersey venue's Berlind Theatre with an official opening set for May 18. The cast includes Ilana Levine (You鈥檙e A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Seinfeld) as Zippy, Kate Mulligan (It鈥檚 Always Sunny in Philadelphia) as Erica, Dakin Matthews (Waitress, To Kill a Mockingbird) as Clark, Jake Cannavale (Fish in the Dark) as Hunter, Tony nominee Caitlin Kinnunen (The Prom) as Zoe/Leah or Lena, and Barzin Akhavan (Network) as Mark/The Other Mark. Casting is by Karyn Casl of The Telsey Company.

Sarah Rasmussen directs the production. The creative team also includes scenic designer Andrew Boyce, costume designer Raquel Adorno, lighting designer Masha Tsimring, sound designer Andr茅 Pluess, dialect and vocal coach Liz Hayes, intimacy coordinator Alicia Rodis, dramaturg Julie Felise Dubiner, production stage manager Alison Cote, and assistant stage manager Matthew Luppino.
