April 28 was a big day for the Broadway community, as performers and creative teams held their breath to see which shows and performances would be nominated for the 2015 Tony Awards. In what has been dubbed a particularly competitive season, 半岛体育.com took to social media to ask readers who they thought was most deserving but failed to receive a nomination. Laura Beth Daily: Side Show's Erin Davie and Emily Padgett. They were an outstanding pair and the show was beautiful.

Ingrid Haas: Erin Davie and Emily Padgett, of course!!! They were magnificent as Daisy and Hilton in SIDE SHOW!!! Also, that musical should have received a nomination for Best Revival of a Musical. I saw it twice and loved the music, the story and the performances of its two leading ladies. I will NEVER understand why the TONY voters ignored these two talented ladies and this amazing musical. Unbelievable!

Howard, who has appeared on Broadway in supporting roles in , , and , finally stepped into the spotlight in the role of Jenny, the maid of honor who must navigate the chaos erupting between two families in the lead-up to a controversial wedding.

Matthew Morrison began his career on Broadway over a decade ago when he was featured in the ensemble of , followed by roles in Hairspray, The Light in the Piazza and South Pacific. He took a few years absence to star in the hit musical TV series "Glee" but returned to the Great White Way to play the leading role of in Finding Neverland, the genius behind the "Peter Pan" story. It came as a surprise to many that Finding Neverland was overlooked at this year's Tony nominations, with the show failing to receive a nod in any category. .

Alison Loughlin: Miss Alysha Umphress! This lady should have gotten a nod for her sassy performance of "I Can Cook Too."

Alysha Umphress is currently offering a show-stopping performance as Hildy in the Broadway revival of On the Town, directed by . While Rob McClure was nominated for a Tony Award in 2013 for his performance in the musical , fans were disappointed to learn that his role in Honeymoon in Vegas didn't garner him a second nomination. McClure played the role of Jack Singer in his fourth Broadway show. Honeymoon in Vegas, also starring , and Nancy Opel, played an acclaimed engagement at New Jersey's but failed to generate enough ticket sales after transferring to Broadway, where it played only 93 performances at the Nederlander Theatre.

In an interview with 半岛体育.com, he said that he was drawn to the role of Peter Patrone in 's The Heidi Chronicles because of  the play's intimate exploration of friendship. The story follows a group of life-long friends living in New York City. "It felt so personal," said Pinkham. "My family's in California. They're still my family, but really in my day-to-day life, my friends are my family. What Heidi and Peter go through is trying to find out how to keep that friendship vital and re-invest in it."
