News Premiere Dates Announced for 5 CBS Series, Featuring Thomas Sadoski, Marcia Gay Harden, Jeremy Jordan and More Premiere dates have been announced for five new CBS series: "Life in Pieces," "Limitless," "Code Black," "Supergirl" and "Angel from Hell." Many of the new programs feature Broadway actors.

Emmy-winning "Glee" star will host "CBS Fall Preview," which will offer viewers a look at each of the new series. The primetime special is scheduled for Sept. 7 at 8:30 PM ET on CBS; check local listings.

Details, according to CBS, for each of the new series follow.

"Life in Pieces," premiering Monday, Sept. 21 (8:30-9 PM, ET/PT), is a comedy about "one big happy family and their sometimes awkward, often hilarious and ultimately beautiful milestone moments as told by its various members. As the family's lives unfold in four short stories each week, they try to savor these little pieces of time that flash by but stay with you forever, because these moments add up to what life's all about." , James Brolin, , , Angelique Cabral, , Betsy Brandt, Dan Bakkedahl, Niall Cunningham, Holly J. Barrett and Giselle Eisenberg star.

"Limitless," premiering Tuesday, Sept. 22 (10-11 PM, ET/PT), based on the feature film, is a "fast-paced drama about Brian Finch (Jake McDorman), who discovers the brain-boosting power of the mysterious drug NZT and is coerced by the FBI into using his extraordinary cognitive abilities to solve complex cases for them." , and Hill Harper also star.

"Code Black," premiering Wednesday, Sept. 30 (10-11 PM, ET/PT), is "a heart-pounding medical drama that takes place in the busiest, most notorious ER in the nation, where the staggering influx of patients can outweigh the limited resources available to the extraordinary doctors and nurses whose job is to treat them all 鈥� creating a condition known as Code Black." , Bonnie Somerville, Raza Jaffrey, Luis Guzm谩n, Melanie Chandra, Harry M. "Supergirl," premiering Monday, Oct. 26 (8:30-9:30 PM, ET/PT) before moving to its regular time period (8-9 PM) on Monday, Nov. 2, is "an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), Superman鈥檚 cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be." "Angel from Hell," premiering Thursday, Nov. 5 (9:30-10 PM, ET/PT), is a comedy about Amy (Jane Lynch), "a colorful, brassy woman who insinuates herself into the life of an organized and seemingly perfect young woman, Allison (Maggie Lawson), claiming to be her 'guardian angel'."
