"Manhattan Parisienne is a New York story, a story of differences and attraction, of two struggling artists and an unlikely meeting of minds," press notes state. "She is a French actress/singer. He is a Manhattan musician who has a history with Paris. Connected by music, they embark on a surreal journey through New York on a cold rainy evening. Manhattan Parisienne features excerpts of songs from the classic French and American songbooks by songwriters including Jacques Brel, George and , , and ."
Zamora originated the role of Cosette in the Paris production of Les Mis茅rables. Her other principal roles include Kate in Kiss Me, Kate; Chairy in Barnum; and Sina Marnis in Pirandello's Les Nouvelles De Sicile. She appeared in the concert production "Hey Mr. Producer" at London's Lyceum Theatre and "Do You Hear the People Sing."
Boublil is the Tony Award-winning co-creator of Les Mis茅rables and . He also wrote the book and lyrics for . The production also marks a reunion for him with Daniele, who provided musical staging for The Pirate Queen.
