Tom Stoppard鈥檚 Tony Award-winning play Travesties returns to Broadway for the first time since its 1975 run, in a new production directed by Patrick Marber. The revival arrives on Broadway following a run in the West End and with the show鈥檚 London star, Tom Hollander, reprising his starring role as Henry Carr.
This production, the play's first Broadway revival, is a co-production from Roundabout, London's Menier Chocolate Factory, and Productions.
The Roundabout Theatre Company presents the revival that officially opened April 24 at the American Airlines Theatre following previews that began March 29. Performances continue through June 17.

Set in 1917 Zurich, Travesties is about a British military official (Hollander) who recalls serving in Zurich while James Joyce and Vladimir Lenin were also there. He imagines a meeting between the two men, which is performed in the style of Oscar Wilde's .
