Rodgers and Hammerstein鈥檚 Oklahoma! returns to the New York stage this season at St. Ann鈥檚 Warehouse. The Bard SummerScape production opened at the Brooklyn venue October 7, marking its Off-Broadway debut following a sold-out run at the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College in 2015. Daniel Fish鈥檚 environmental staging aims to explore the darker connotations of the 1943 musical.
The production鈥檚 original cast members鈥擠amon Daunno (Curly), Patrick Vaill (Jud Fry), (Aunt Eller), Mallory Portnoy (Gertie Cummings), and James Davis (Will Parker)鈥攔eturn for the new engagement. They are joined by as Laurey, Ali Stroker as Ado Annie, Anthony Cason as Cord, Michael Nathanson as Ali Hakim, Will Mann as Mike, and Mitch Tebo as Annie's father.
