Syracuse's Redhouse Arts Center has unveiled its 2019鈥�2020 season programming, the first under the leadership of new Artistic Director Hunter Foster. Season highlights include Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Rent, August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning play Fences, and the Syracuse premiere of the Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Fun Home.
Redhouse will kick off the new season with Rent, running September 19鈥�29, followed by Yasmina Reza's Tony-winning play God of Carnage (seen on Broadway in 2009). Rounding out 2019, and in celebration of the holiday season, the theatre will present A Syracuse Christmas Carol, featuring a book by LJ Fecho and music and lyrics by Michael O'Flaherty (December 12鈥�22).
Redhouse will launch the new year with William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet (February 13鈥�23, 2020), followed by Fences (March 26鈥揂pril 5).
Closing out the season will be Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori's acclaimed musical Fun Home, which will run May 28鈥揓une 7.
