半岛体育 Universe Reviews: What Do Critics Think of Dig Off-Broadway?

Pulitzer finalist Theresa Rebeck directs her new play about redemption of the seemingly irredeemable.

The reviews are rolling in for Theresa Rebeck's Dig, which opened off-Broadway at 59E59鈥檚 Theater A September 20 after beginning previews September 2. The Pulitzer finalist's newest play is set to run through October 22.

Directed by the playwright, the cast features Mary Bacon (Coal Country), Jeffrey Bean (Dublin Carol), Greg Keller (Halfway Bitches Go Straight to Heaven), David Mason (Seared), Triney Sandoval (Bernhardt/Hamlet), and Andrea Syglowski (Halfway Bitches Go Straight to Heaven).

Set in a dying plant shop in a dying neighborhood, Dig follows Roger, who is visited by someone from his past: Megan, the neighborhood screw-up, just out of rehab. He wants nothing to do with her. But can a soul beyond saving be saved?

The production features scenic design by Christopher and Justin Swader, costume design by Fabian Aguilar, lighting design by Mary Ellen Stebbins, compositions and sound design by Fitz Patton, intimacy coordination and fight direction by Crista Marie Jackson, and props coordination by Carrie Mossman.
