Byrne, who was last seen on an Australian stage in 2001 and on Broadway last year in , is set to star in 's Speed the Plow, which will be directed by Upton in November 2016.

The slate will showcase the works of , , , , and Mamet. International productions featured in the new season include Almeida's West End staging of King Charles III and the U.K.'s 1927 company's acclaimed Golem, blending live music, performance, film and animation.
