STAGES St. Louis closes out its 2022 season with A Chorus Line at The Ross Family Theatre at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. Performances began September 9 for the run through October 9.
The musical follows a group of dancers all auditioning for an unnamed musical. James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante penned the book, while Marvin Hamlisch wrote the music and Edward Kleban the lyrics.
A Chorus Line premiered on Broadway in 1975, and won nine Tony Awards as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Hits from the musical include 鈥淚 Hope I Get It,鈥� 鈥淥ne,鈥� and 鈥淲hat I Did For Love.鈥�
